Funny what you get when you google "cupcake chairs"...!

Do have to admit though - as creative and 'out-there' as these are, I have pretty much fallen for the 2nd image. It's a hand painted chair by a lady called Cathy Elling.  I had to dig about as soon as I found it and find out some more about where it came from!  There is a blog about her work on here, if you love it as much as me, maybe you should check it out...?  Cathy Elling.

Fab Online Shop...

As Christmas is nearing and my potential present list is praying on my mind, I went looking for some quirky gifts for my loved ones.  I found a website so awsome that I thought it deserved a mention...  Papa Stour.

My favourite buys are...

So cute! Ok so a little bit pricey and not so "cheap" but worth every penny I reckon!

A beautiful embroidered pattern on one side and patchwork detail on the reverse, so colourful and delicate at the same time.

This is amazing!!! And definately on my own shopping list. So unique and fun, that is what this website is all about.

What a find!

I was just looking online for a fun and bright alternative to "the boring old stool" and found this saucey little number on MyDeco... It's a stool that's shaped like a vase! I think every living room should have one!

I love the weekend!

So excited that it is the weekend (even though I was working today), it means tomorrow is Sunday and 'Bettie' is beckoning me to go play....

Last weekend I climbed a hill - that felt like a mountain - to take photos of a stunning monument that stands on the top (Fyrish Monument).  Stunning views and a hard act to follow!

I will have to see what I can muster up...
